Illegal Possession of an Access or Credit Card

Penal Code 484e defines this crime as a person who, having the intent to defraud, sells, transfers, or conveys an access card without the cardholder’s consent, is guilty. This can be a felony or a misdemeanor as well, depending on the amount taken. This crime can be punished as a felony for up to three years in state prison, or as a misdemeanor depending on the amount taken.
