Unlawful Touching of a Minor

Lewd acts on a minor under age 14, with the intent to arouse, appeal to, or gratify the lust, passion, or sexual desire of that person or the child, can be sentenced up to eight years in state prison, and can be much more punitive if the acts are forced. If the person is age 14-15, then the penalties are up to three years in state prison. In addition to the prison penalty, unlawful touching of a minor carries lifetime sex registration.
